Teaching

Physics may seem challenging at first, but with the right guidance it becomes as natural as riding a bicycle.

Intensive Courses Fall Semester 25/26

The Team

My friend Tareq and me are organizing events to help students accomplish their exam goals!

Tareq Fritsch (24) is a student at BHT and is supporting me in organizing a intensive course for BHT students. He assists in obtaining relevant materials from BHT and facilitates important contacts to ensure that the course is well-structured and runs smoothly.
Thanks to his strong connection to the university and his proactive approach, the collaboration with him and BHT is efficient and productive. His commitment and organizational skills play a key role in creating an optimal learning experience for the participants.

I am Yassin Ouali (23) a Master’s student in Physics and a visiting student at EPFL. I will be the instructor of the focused course and am responsible for designing the course structure, preparing the teaching materials, and delivering the course. With an academic background from Humboldt University of Berlin and a strong focus on theoretical solid-state physics and abstract mathematics, I bring both depth and clarity to complex physical concepts.
Through my structured approach, didactic skills, and enthusiasm for teaching, I aim to provide students with a rigorous yet accessible learning experience that bridges advanced theory and practical understanding.

We are pleased to announce a series of intensive preparation courses for students of BHT Berlin, taking place from January 22 to February 13. The courses are designed to provide focused and effective exam preparation in the following modules:

  • Mathematics 1 and 2 (MA1, MA2) – open also to students from other universities

  • Thermodynamics (TD) – open also to students from other universities

  • Technical Mechanics 1 and 2 (TM1, TM2)

Each module is offered over two intensive course days, with sessions running from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The courses will be held at:

  • an office building in Berlin Mitte (Oberwallstraße 9, 10117 Berlin), and

  • university locations (BHT, TU Berlin).

The courses are taught in German; English instruction is available upon request. During the courses, participants can expect:

  • Topic Overview
A concise review of the most important concepts, based on a structured summary of the module content.

  • Exam Training
Guided work on past exam problems, carefully selected to reflect the most relevant exam topics.

  • Small Group Learning
Classes are limited to a maximum of 8 students, ensuring an interactive, focused, and motivating learning environment.

Participants also have the option to attend a final review session one day before the exam.
This 1–2 hour session provides the opportunity to clarify remaining questions and to approach the exam with confidence.

The intensive courses are designed to offer the best possible preparation, deepen understanding of core concepts, and support students in achieving strong exam results.
